This cannot happen without high-precision machining. The 36T is a balance between response angle, weight and durability, while 54T is provided for riders who prefer a faster response angle, like in forest trails and mountainous terrains. This structure also passed our high standard quality control. The tolerance of the gears is less than 0.002mm with very high precision. More than that, PG System hubs passed fatigue tests, 100,000 times rotation with no worn wear. Stiff and Precise Axles When it comes to producing a good hub, the axle can be easily ignored. However, as the axle is in contact with the bearing and the wheel, we put effort into axle production like no other. Each axle is hard anodized to add stiffness.
