Wave CS 4565

The Carbon Spoked Wave 4565 is our fastest wheelset full stop. Designed for riders who can throw Watt Bombs and want a wheelset that can transer every watt into forward momentum.

Designed from the ground up to hit three key elements, fast, stiff and versatile. 

Stiffness: When deigning the rear wheel we wanted to ensure power transfer is not lost due to lateral flex.  A 24 carbon spoke count achieves with 16 spokes on the drive side and 8 on the rear. the difference between this and a lightweight 20 spoke rear is real.

Fast: In real world roll testing and racing these wheels outperformed others in their ability to maintain speed and handle any adverse cross winds. 

Versatile: The wave shape and the 45/55 depth on the front wheel allows pressure buildup from cross winds to be released quicker, therefore increasing cross wind stability. While still a light weight wheelset, these do not suffer from "decreasing inertia" like sub 1200 grams wheelsets.

Rim: 

• Rear 55/65, front 45/55 depths
• EPS internl molding
• Toray T700, T800 and T100 carbon
• Raw unpainted find. you can see the carbon.

Hub:

• 6061 alloy
• Heat treated alloy axles to ensure stiffness and light weight
• Ceramic bearings
• 36 tooth star ratchet for quick uptake

Spokes:

• Carbon spokes with taper lock interface between the carbon and the alloy nipple. 

The build:

Hand built in NSW to 0.1mm trueness (runout) both laterally and radially. Uniform spoke tensions. To ensure this is takes time skill and is what sets our wheels apart Max rider weight 1200kg with bike 3yr Warranty on manufacturing defects. Crash replacement at 50% rrp 

Customer Feedback: I replaced a set of Enve SES 4.5 with a set of carbon spoked wave wheels. No comparison, the STOX Wave wheels were head and shoulders better.
