Why?

• I take the time to to understand what, where and how you ride. The colour of your bike, and match these requirements to a truely individual custom package.

You're cheaper than the big brands, is your quality less?

• I buy direct from manufacturers/suppliers who produce for the big guys. The quality of our rims and hubs are second to none. Go to our Tech Page for an overview.
• I would put my wheels up against anything from any big brand,
• I have low overheads, I do all the builds, marketing , ordering.
• I build to .15mm total runout (width of a hair) and ensure uniform spoke tentions. I have never has a set of wheels come back for a true.

Is lighter better?

• Absolutely NOT.  Weight saving can come at the cost of a laterally stiff and robust wheel.  Flanges on a hub act as a way in increase bracing angles, which increase lateral stiffness.
• That 150 grams you want to save will make absolutely no difference on the road, Its all marketing.
• 2.2 pounds (1kg) on a 2 mile climb at a 5% gradient  averaging 300 watts will save you 4 seconds. You do the maths.
