Gravel Wheels

All our wheels are hand built in Australia using the very best components to very low tolerances. We take a great amount of pride in our wheel building, we've been doing this for 8 years. Last 4 in the US supplying boutique shops.

Our Rims: Either EPS internal molded or filament wound. 3 year warranty. Quality of our rims are second too none. Rigorous strength testing in development phase, and the use of CFD (computerised fluid dynamics) and wind tunnel testing.

STOX Hubs: French manufactured  by Aivee using premium alloys and bearings from SKF, Aita Ceramic and EZO. Our STOX hubs offer a Lifetime Warranty on the hubs shells and Axles and 3 years on bearings and freehubs.

Our core principle is this. Build once and build it right. We do not rush the build process,, it takes as long as it takes to get the wheel right. Numerous bedding in processes during the build ensure that by the time you get the wheel it will stay true for years to come. we build to a tolerance of 0.1mm in lateral runout and 0.15 in radial runout. Spoke tension is is uniform throughout each side of the wheel.

We have a number of great testimonials from real customers. Notice that many of the customers have more than 1 set of our wheels. Ask yourself why.

Do things go wrong? Sure, but very rarely. We have one customer who was riding in a pace line and double flatted by hitting potholes. We checked their wheels and they were still within 0.15mm trueness. Two weeks later a non drive rear spoke broke , then another couple of spokes broke. We rebuild the non drive side and no more issues. Our take is that this was caused by the potholes in the prior weeks.  Then after 18month their  Velotechnic freehub gave way which we replaced. So sure mechanical things break, but we fix it.
